Lance E. Cleveland, DC,
VPC, AVCA
Animal Chiropractor
Dr. Cleveland completed his graduate studies at Palmer College
of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1978. He then opened his
first practice in Long Beach, Mississippi. Within a decade, interest
in his health care systems and standards had blossomed into the
development of a chain of clinics along the Mississippi Gulf Coast
which became, at one time, the state’s largest
chiropractic practice.
After nearly 25 years of experience helping people, he accepted
the challenge of helping quadrupeds.
Dr. Cleveland studied the Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation,
(VOM) instrument adjusting technique under its founder and developer,
William L. Inman, BS, DVM, CVCP of Portland, Oregon — to
become a Veterinary Chiropractitioner. He went on to complete the
American Veterinary Chiropractic Association’s manual adjusting
technique under the direction of Bill Ormston, DVM at Parker Chiropractic
College in Dallas, Texas, and became certified in Animal Chiropractic
by the AVCA. His advanced studies also include equine postural rehabilitation by Judith Shoemaker, DVM and Karen Gellman, DVM, Ph.D of Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine.
